AI Policy

AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools are becoming commonplace in both our work and personal lives. While these tools show promise in improving some of the ways we live and work, the technology also presents some challenges - especially when used irresponsibly. With this in mind, we would like to make Good Boy Veterinary Clinic’s use of AI (especially Large Language Models) especially clear.

Where we do not use AI

  • We do not use AI to create art. We commissioned an artist , Kim Siew, to create the branding for our clinic.

  • We do not use AI to assess resumes

  • We do not use AI to screen calls

  • We do not use AI to automatically reply to emails

Where we do use AI

  • To assist with searching for more information relating to veterinary conditions

  • To provide a summary in our clinical discharge notes. This summary is created from information we have written without AI and is clearly marked

  • To assist with locating the closest emergency centre to your suburb for discharge notes

  • To assist with creating some of the internal interfaces we use for our hospital management system

Where AI material exists in content we have given to you as our client, it will be labelled as such. Please contact us if you have any concerns about our policy or believe it has been breached.
